TEMIDAYO JABAGUN
MSW RSW
Over the past 8 years of working in Mental Health and Addiction Services, I have come to understand that healing is a delicate and naturally complex process. I strongly believe we all have the inherent capability to heal and I hold this belief for everyone I have the privilege of working with. Regardless of where you come from, your history, or objectives for therapy, I pride myself on working with my clients to reach their definition of healing and change.
Finding the right therapist can also be stressful, so hopefully, this will give you a clear picture of what I can provide. First and foremost, I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I have a Masters Degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University and I hold undergraduate degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina. I have worked extensively with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, substance use, anger management, and/or self-esteem. My therapeutic approach/training is rooted in an eclectic blend of Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy.
I realize that reaching out for help is not easy, but I want you to know that creating a safe environment is my number one priority. Throughout my career, I have continuously challenged myself to understand the dynamic nature of individual needs and issues while supporting creative strategies/techniques to meet both new and existing needs. Nevertheless, thank you for considering Saskatchewan Therapy Services, and I look forward to meeting you.
