I practice a holistic approach taking into account your emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health.
I have over 10 years’ experience in the helping profession. I have direct experience in mental health and addictions counseling. Each individual is different in their journey and where they are at, therefore each approach will differ. My counseling style comes from a solution focused approach. However I have a background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and attachment based.
I believe that counseling is about the client. It is about meeting them where they are at and assisting them in building on the strengths they already have or learning new skills. Change is a personal choice. Counseling is about clients empowering themselves in whichever directions or goal they would like to achieve.
The areas I specialize in are anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, inner child, relational issues and addictions. I am passionate about assisting others in learning emotional regulation and creating healthy coping skills.
